The tour continues via calm mountain communities, hot springs, and alpine meadows, taking you over the famed Shandur Pass—the highest polo ground in the world—before dropping into the spectacular Phandar Valley and serene Khalti Lake. Start your journey north along the Chitral-Dir Road, passing towns like Shringal, Upper Dir, and Qashqaray. The highlight is the Lowari Tunnel, a remarkable engineering feat connecting Dir to Chitral. Arrive in Ayun by evening, known for its proximity to the Kalash Valleys. Overnight stay in Ayun.
